Our teachers are passionate about books, poetry and plays, and we hope our pupils are, too. We are enthusiastic about the English language and committed to sharing with our children, ‘the best which has been thought and said’.
We seek out the most stimulating texts which appeal to young minds and ignite a spark leading to lively discussion, engaging writing and a hunger to discover more. We lift the written word off the page with regular author visits, book weeks, writers’ workshops and more. Whilst we are rigorous in preparing pupils for their next schools, we are as dedicated to developing them as poets, story tellers, journalists, orators, actors and playwrights!
We hope your child leaves The ºìÐÓÊÓƵ loving language and the pursuit of ideas, and that, no matter what path they take in life, they simply cannot travel there without a good book and a point of view!
