Nursery at The ºìÐÓÊÓƵ is a magical time and a wonderful place for children to start their school life. Children thrive in a safe, secure and vibrant learning environment where purposeful play is always the order of the day. Our experienced and well qualified Nursery staff nurture each child’s natural curiosity to discover and explore, guiding them in their learning through a broad range of engaging activities based around each child’s interests and passions. Individuality is cherished, instilling a positive sense of personal identity and developing character, and in this way the foundations for a lifelong love of learning are laid.  

We are open for adventure 50 weeks of the year from 7.15am to 6.00pm for babies aged six months to children aged four, with term-time only options available.

Being part of the School, Nursery children enjoy use of all of our extensive facilities to experience an enormous variety of activities: our 35 idyllic acres for nature trails, sound walks and bear hunts, our Woodland Classroom for storytelling and role-play, outdoor crafting and bug hunts, MUGAs for driving role-play with ride-ons, dance studios for yoga, sports hall for soft play. And then there’s the Junior library, sports pitches and Astros! During term-time, specialist Forest School, Music, Dance and PE teachers enrich children’s learning.

We develop our children to be resilient, creative, independent and confident learners who progress seamlessly through to more formal schooling in our Reception classes, taking with them the skills and confidence they have gained under the care of our ºìÐÓÊÓƵ Nursery staff.
