Images are everywhere. Photography is the medium through which the world is communicating. Images are a powerful means of expression, allowing pupils an opportunity for developing their imagination and creativity in an instant medium. Digital cameras allow pupils to capture moments in time, to tell a story or create something new.

Taught in Art lessons and integrated in other subjects, the very instant nature of digital photography requires pupils to make decisions about what is of value and what is not, developing critical thinking and discernment skills.  Pupils are also taught to edit their own work and to prepare it for display.
