One of the most distinctive characteristics of The ºìÐÓÊÓƵ is its strong sense of community. Former pupils are known as Old Hawthornians, or Junior OHs until the age of 18, and upon leaving the School, they are welcomed immediately into a warm network of former pupils, parents and staff.

Whether OH are about to begin further study, embark on adventures around the world, start their dream job or wind down a fulfilling career, we encourage them to stay involved in the life of the School and keep connected with their fellow Old Hawthornians. Join OH Connected, a secure platform where alumni news, events and reunions are shared, and a space for OHs to reconnect with one another.

Even as our Junior OHs parade out of Prize Giving for the last time, they remain Hawthornians for life. We love any excuse to celebrate our ever-growing, diverse and talented community as they embrace their potential and reach new heights. Join us at one of our upcoming Centenary events

Our Centenary year begins in September 2026, and we'd love to welcome as many OH back as possible for what promises to be a special series of events. Details of all Centenary events are now published on OH Connected - please join and save the dates. Invitations and booking information will follow in due course.

Get Involved!

We always welcome new OHA Committee members from the OH community (former pupils, parents and staff) to help run and promote OH events. If you are interested, do get in touch with Lena on oh@hawthorns.com. We are always open to suggestions and ideas for new events!
