Starting School
We understand that some children feel excited about the prospect of starting at school, whilst others are more nervous. We wish to make the transition to The ºìÐÓÊÓƵ as smooth as possible for each child and have put together a series of ways in which children (and parents!) can get to know the School before they start.
"MOVING-UP" MORNING
Children starting at the beginning of an academic year will be invited to "Moving-Up" Morning at the end of the proceeding Summer Term. This will give them an opportunity to meet their Form Teacher and classmates and familiarise themselves with the School.
ºìÐÓÊÓƵ VISITS
Families of our younger children receive a visit at home from their child's Form Teacher and Learning Support Assistant, giving your child the opportunity to get to know their teachers in an environment in which they are comfortable. Home Visits are scheduled a few days before your child's first day at School.
Parents' Information Evening
For families joining at the beginning of an academic year, parents are encouraged to attend introductory information evenings which provide an excellent opportunity to meet other parents and staff and undersatnd more about life at The ºìÐÓÊÓƵ.
