The Curriculum
The ºìÐÓÊÓƵ seeks to develop a love of learning. The Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum builds upon the natural curiosity evident in the Early Years, developing confidence, questioning and independent thinking.
Curiosity about the world is fostered through diverse opportunities in and out of the classroom and through expert teaching. Each transfer, from year to year, is thoughtfully managed. Special Needs and Able Child Co-ordinators oversee the progress of every child. With a focus on English and Maths and a curriculum based on The ºìÐÓÊÓƵ Compass Curriculum a truly broad and balanced curriculum is experienced.
The School is innovative and forward thinking, embracing current educational change and forging ahead with the use of new technologies. Progression and continuity are measured through tracking systems, with standardised testing forming just a part of this process in order that learning is central to each child’s success.
