ºìÐÓÊÓƵ Fun Run

Mon 09 May 2016

The sun was shining for over 200 parents, pupils and staff who took part in a Fun Run this weekend to raise money for Josie, our Judo teacher of fifteen years. Earlier this year Josie suffered a serious accident which resulted in her having to have the lower part of her left leg immediately amputated. As a way of helping Josie in her rehabilitation, we are helping to raise money to buy Josie a prosthetic leg.

We would like to express a huge thank you to those of you who walked, ran or jogged the 1.2 miles this Saturday.  A fantastic achievement for all and in particular our youngest pupils in Reception who participated with as much enthusiasm and willingness as their older peers.  An enthusiasm matched by our Headmaster who decided to tackle the 1.2 miles - twice!

We are delighted to have raised over £4000 to date and donations are still coming in.

If you haven't yet donated there is still time!  Please visit  to help us achieve our dream of supporting Josie buy the new prosthetic leg.
