Following a successful registration inspection by Ofsted, we are delighted to open The ºìÐÓÊÓƵ Nursery to babies and toddlers aged from six months to two years. Our brand new Discoverers (six months to walking) and Explorers (walking to two years) rooms are bright and contemporary spaces for babies and toddlers to learn and grow in a safe and nurturing environment.

Headmaster, Adrian Floyd was delighted at the successful outcome of the inspection, “Here at ºìÐÓÊÓƵ we appreciate just how busy modern life can be, which is why we are pleased to complete the opening of our brand new nursery to provide full-day, year round provision for children aged six months to four years. As parents, we all want the best for our children and, in line with our whole school philosophy, our vibrant and nurturing nursery environment will provide opportunities for your child to thrive and flourish, allowing them to develop their personality and character, whilst growing intellectually and emotionally – as well as physically!”

Expressing her pride in the Nursery’s unique setting and range of facilities, Nursery Manager, Angela Gallagher, remarked, “Early Years education and childcare at ºìÐÓÊÓƵ is built around child-led discovery, exploration and fun, supported and extended by loving and responsive Nursery staff. Individuality is cherished and experienced early years professionals support each child’s learning through a broad range of engaging activities based around their interests and passions, instilling a positive sense of personal identity and developing their character. Being part of the School, Nursery children use the extensive facilities on-hand to experience an enormous variety of activities and specialist Forest School, Music, Dance and PE lessons enrich children’s learning.”

The brand new Discoverers and Explorers rooms are light and airy, and their contemporary design primarily uses natural materials and neutral colours, carefully chosen to provide a calm, nurturing environment, allowing children to develop from their multi-sensory learning activities without too much stimulation. The rooms also contain integrated changing areas and sleeping coracles for our babies.
