Year 8 pupil Dillon Q took part in the National Cross Country Championships in Nottingham yesterday. 8,000 runners competed overall with 680 of the best U13 boys in the country competing in his race. Participants of the race had to run through a river with mud up to their knees and tackle a number of steep hills, a tough course to say the least!
Dillon was hoping to come in the top half of his age group and was delighted when he came in 72nd place! A fantastic achievement for Dillon in a tough National Final.
