Our Eco Team have worked hard over the past two years to continue the sustainability work of the School and we were thrilled to receive our third Green Flag Award last month from Eco Schools!

The Eco Team have enjoyed setting anti-litter poster competitions and keeping the School informed about how we use and abuse our precious water resources, encouraging better water stewardship and use at School and at home.

The Eco Schools Green Flag assessor comments;

‘The pupils and staff of ºìÐÓÊÓƵ are clearly committed to making sustainability an integral part of school life. The members of the Eco-Team are enthusiastic and knowledgeable and they are being very well supported by staff and parents. The appointment of a full-time conservation teacher has further expanded the possibilities for pupils’ involvement in outdoor learning and environmental education. This was a strong application and the school thoroughly deserves to be awarded its third Green Flag. Well done everyone.’

Although we still have a way to go and many things to learn as a School, we are thankful for the recognition that our work to date has received and are incredibly proud of our achievements!
