We were blown away by the talent, poise, bravery and teamwork of our dancers as they performed in 'Just Dance' at The Harlequin Theate. With over 250 dancers on stage we were treated to performances in Ballet, Modern, Street Dance, Ballroom & Latin, Tap and Acro.

After six months of intense planning and many hours of practice, the results were just FAB-U-LOUS! The smiles on the children's faces as they performed, and the energy they danced with, portrayed the confidence they gained through the experience.

With dancers ranging in age from 3 to 18, it was particularly heart warming to see the senior dancers supporting the youngest performers in their dances. We were also delighted to see so many Old Hawthornians on stage.

Our thanks must go to Tanya Greenwood, Head of Dance, Alex Curran, Senior Dance Instructor and all of the other dance teachers. The determination after five years to aim high and perform in a theatre environment was an experience that lifted the audience and children alike.
