Mr Mark Dockery

Named Governor for Health & Safety and Risk Assessments

Having become a ºìÐÓÊÓƵ parent in 1998, and being passionate about The ºìÐÓÊÓƵ, I was delighted to be invited to become a governor in 2014, to take responsibility initially for property, and then Health & Safety. I have been involved in the construction industry for 40 years, and have spent the last 20 years directing profitable and successful businesses. I have been a fellow director with a current Hawthorn parent for the last 10 years.

My daughter, Ella, was delighted to return to ºìÐÓÊÓƵ recently as a Teaching Assistant. Both my son, Charlie, now a professional rugby player, and my wife, Katie, who runs her own riding school, leads an equine therapy charity and is a community first responder paramedic, remain equally enthusiastic about the School.

My emphasis as property governor is to contribute to the School’s long term development strategy, in a safe and financially viable manner.
