ºìÐÓÊÓƵ

PORTALS

Mrs Julianne Stewart

My brother attended The ºìÐÓÊÓƵ, so my connection to the school goes back a long way! I have fond memories of attending sports fixtures and playing in the expansive grounds as a youngster. I have known a number of families who have since sent children to The ºìÐÓÊÓƵ and am always impressed by the feedback.

I went to Caterham School (Class of 2001). I feel very fortunate to have had such a positive educational experience, which certainly paved the way for my future interest in joining the sector. My appointment to the Caterham Foundation in 2020 has allowed me to re-connect with Caterham School and I thoroughly enjoy staying abreast of its news and being part of the community.

Having read Law at The University of Exeter, I completed the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in Guildford and went on to practice at a City firm for five years as a Commercial Property solicitor. Having always been interested in education and teaching, I took the plunge and enrolled at Kingston University to gain my PGCE, after a year of working as a Teaching Assistant at Garden House School. My first teaching post was at Ibstock Place School, where I was a Year 3 form teacher for three years. I moved to my current school, Feltonfleet, in 2019 to take up a Year 4 form tutor role. I am now on the Senior Leadership Team, as Head of Lower School and Head of Co-Curricular Clubs.

I am thrilled to be on the Board of Governors and to be able to contribute to the continued success of The ºìÐÓÊÓƵ, as part of the Caterham Family of Schools. I wholeheartedly support the School's vision and purpose to provide exceptional education in a nurturing environment, with a clear focus on wellbeing and innovation.
