To support the local foodbank in Merstham and the charity Loveworks, pupils have been collecting food items for donation to our neighbours, many of whom are living in abject food poverty and are faced with the difficult decision of choosing between food or heating at this time of year.

In just one week, the pupils collected over 1500 items for the charity and have pledged a continuous level of support to Loveworks as part of their year of action pledge working with the global organisation WE Movement. The children are also supporting the opening of The Merstham Mix café in the Merstham hub.

Congratulations to all pupils who made an incredible effort, through their hard work and contributions they will help to feed close to 150 local families.
