Our Nursery children have enjoyed another fantastic week exploring their ‘People Who Help Us’ topic, made extra special by a visit from our local postman, John.

A huge thank you to John for taking time out of a busy day to visit us, complete with his postal van! The children loved exploring letters and parcels and discovering how items are scanned and tracked using special equipment. They were fascinated to learn about John’s 22-mile daily route, his uniform, and were amazed to hear he has been a postman for an incredible 51 years!

Ahead of the visit, the children created their own postcards and added stamps, eagerly handing them to John to post. Fingers crossed they arrive very soon!

What a memorable and hands-on learning experience for them.
