Year 7 pupils spent a week earlier this month visiting Bayeux, Normandy. The trip provided links to the History curriculum with visits to The Bayeux Tapestry and Mont St Michel, whilst also giving pupils the opportunity to visit some of the sites connected with D-Day, including the WW2 landing beach at Arromanches and The Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial.
The trip was a huge success, enabling pupils to not only extend their knowledge of French vocabulary, but also taste some of the local French cuisine!
