Year 7 enjoyed a Science and Art trip to the Horniman Museum in Forest Hill this week. The visit proved a fantastic cross-curricular opportunity, which covered their Habitats topic in Science and their Sea Life topic in Art.

Pupils visited the museum's aquarium which showcased aquatic environments from around the globe, ranging from the British pond to Fijian coral reefs. They viewed an exhibition on animal adaptations and took part in a practical workshop on evolution.

The day provided a valuable learning experience for the pupils who thoroughly enjoyed their day at this fascinating museum.
