After many missed events due to the pandemic, the ºìÐÓÊÓƵ community thoroughly enjoyed coming together in glorious sunshine to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.
Children were welcomed into School by the ‘drop-off’ Queen, generating lots of smiles and comments.
In the morning, younger children took part in a treasure hunt around the School grounds, learning a different fact about the queen at each checkpoint. (Did you know that the Queen is the only person in the UK allowed to drive without a licence?). Older children took a beautiful walk across the fields to St Mary’s Church for a special celebratory Jubilee service.
A street-party style lunch was served on the tennis courts before a visit from the ice cream van.
Parents and children alike enjoyed to afternoon fête; it was truly heartwarming to see so many smiles and excitement.
