Three ºìÐÓÊÓƵ choirs perform in the Reigate & Redhill Music and Drama Festival

Congratulations to the three ºìÐÓÊÓƵ choirs that performed in the Reigate & Redhill Music and Drama Festival. It was a wonderful opportunity for children to once again perform in public and compete against the other school choirs taking part.
The Year 2 choir performed ‘Spring Thing’ and ‘Sing Together’ with great confidence and gusto; quite rightly followed by a huge round of applause from the audience!
The Junior Choir have been itching to sing their version of ‘This is me’ from The Greatest Showman since they started learning it back in February, and they did not disappoint. Our Adjudicator for the event, Mr Benjamin Costello, commented that ‘the defiant energy in the character of the song was well conveyed’.
The day ended with an outstanding performance from the Senior Choir singing ‘The Place Where Lost Things Go’ from ‘Mary Poppins Returns’ and the jazzy ‘Seasons of Love’. The choir were awarded ‘Honours’ for their performance and were delighted to come first in their category. Well done to all!
