Excitement bubbled over this weekend on our Dance & Drama Tour in London’s West End. The children grasped every opportunity given to them to embrace the hubbub of this London performance experience. Two top shows were seen: Warhorse seemed a very poignant play as it was the Remembrance Weekend and many of us were struck by the harsh realities that were faced by everyone in the First World War. In total contrast, Matilda had us toe-tapping and singing along. We were able to develop ideas and themes in both workshops. The staff were incredibly proud of the children throughout the tour, and it was a delight to see the children in the restaurants, buzzing with anticipation, interpretations and sharing of the moments.
