ºìÐÓÊÓƵ

This week we welcomed back into School senior Old Hawthornians from the 1940s – 1960s, and their partners, most of whom started their school life at Gatton Point.

The guest of honour was Gillian Penny, daughter of founder Dudley Bull and a presence at ºìÐÓÊÓƵ for some sixty years. It was wonderful to also be joined by Tim Johns, OH 1969 and Headmaster from 1992-2015.

Drinks in the Front Hall were accompanied by delightful musical performances from three current pupils. The Macleay Room was filled with lively conversation over lunch, and lots of happy memories evoked as Old Hawthornians looked through old school photographs, flicked through old copies of the Review and school play programmes, and spotted their names on the prefect boards.
