Despite being in lockdown again, the ºìÐÓÊÓƵ pupils are as busy as ever. Following a very efficient Remote Working resources drive-through pick-up at the beginning of term, Reception to Year 8 pupils are enjoying their timetable of live lessons, whether they are working remotely or are the children of critical workers and on-site.
With Years 4 to 8 pupils already having their own individual school iPads, the School were able to lend iPads to those children in Reception to Year 3 without their own individual home device to ensure that everyone could access lessons.
"Thank you for all you and your team are doing at what must be a very testing time as things continually change day by day. We really appreciate it. The drive-by yesterday was helpful and the information coming to us has been great. Thank you. I know it can't be easy at all, but you are all rising to the challenge once again."
Years 6 & 8 Parent
All children are working from timetables with a mix of live and prerecorded lessons, with the proportion of live lessons increasing as the children progress up the School. As well as continuing to deliver an outstanding education, the lessons ensure that pupils are engaged and promote independence, so that parents have the flexibility to get on with their own work, oversee younger siblings or simply have a little time to themselves on occasion!
"I'm sitting here working, listening to both children in live lessons being taught with enthusiasm and laughter. Hats off to you ºìÐÓÊÓƵ School, you're not just giving my wife and I time to do our jobs but the children will benefit enormously from the interaction of live lessons too."
Years 2 & 4 Parent
With nearly 90% of Nursery children back in School, their teachers, plus those of critical worker children are being tested on a weekly basis, to ensure that our provision is as safe as it can possibly be.
We're so pleased with the way the whole ºìÐÓÊÓƵ community has adapted once again.
