Year 8 pupil Edward competed at the NSEA National Championship finals on 23rd October. Competing as an individual for The ºìÐÓÊÓƵ in the Dressage Novice Test 27, Edward beat off stiff competition and not only qualified but was placed 10th Nationally!
An amazing achievement for Edward who comments “I felt proud to represent The ºìÐÓÊÓƵ, the atmosphere was tense, but exciting as everyone had worked so hard to get there.” Edward’s mother and Team Manager, Sarah concluded “Ben did an amazing test and took everything in his stride.”
Edward and Sarah had to travel Ben, an 11 year old 14.2hh Grey Connemara, to the venue the day before and stable him overnight. The qualifiers for next year have already begun and we are fortunate that Edward will be eligible to compete for The ºìÐÓÊÓƵ again next year. We wish him the very best of luck!
