Pupils in Year 4 spent the Spring Term learning about the country of India and to celebrate the end of term the children took part in 'India Day'. The day was an opportunity to experience in more depth some of the different aspects of Indian culture.

Pupils were given the opportunity to wear traditional Indian outfits and take part in a range of exciting activities including Bollywood Dancing, Mehendi Art, Yoga, a traditional Indian game and enjoyed trying some different Indian sweets. To ensure the Indian theme ran throughout the day, lunch was a delicious curry with all the trimmings, thanks to our catering team.

The children thoroughly enjoyed the day and learnt a great deal from it. Many thanks to all of the staff and parents who helped make the day a success.
