150 pupils thrill with their singing in Reigate & Redhill Music Festival

Thu 09 May 2019

Huge congratulations to all the150 pupils who participated in the four ºìÐÓÊÓƵ choirs in the Reigate and Redhill Music Festival this week. The ºìÐÓÊÓƵ House Choir (Year 2), Junior Choir (Years 3 & 4), Senior Choir (Years 5-8) all won Cups and Honours Performance Certificates for coming first and the Chamber Choir received a Honour Performance Certificate.

Each choir performed two contrasting pieces in competition against other schools. The adjudicator, Ben Costell, described singing as "vibrant and dramatic", "sensitively handled" and "energetic".

We have also just learnt that Ben Costello was so impressed with all of our choirs’ terrific entries that ºìÐÓÊÓƵ was awarded the Music Trust Cup. Well done everyone!
