ºìÐÓÊÓƵ

The ºìÐÓÊÓƵ swim squad made an outstanding start to the season on Thursday 8 October, hosting our first gala of the year against Hazelwood. Although officially a Year 6-8 fixture, our talented team included 31 swimmers from Years 5-8, with several younger swimmers confidently stepping up to compete in older age groups.

The gala showcased not only the strength and depth of our squad but also the dedication and hard work of our swimmers. The team achieved an impressive 37 personal best times, reflecting the commitment and progress being made in training.

There was a fantastic atmosphere throughout the competition, with swimmers demonstrating excellent teamwork and sportsmanship. Led by team captain Jesse, the squad supported one another from start to finish, concluding the gala with three cheers in celebration of a memorable performance.

We are delighted to report that The ºìÐÓÊÓƵ secured victory, with a final score of 212 points to Hazelwood's 193.

Congratulations to all our swimmers on such a successful start to the season. We look forward to seeing what the team can achieve in the months ahead.
